iLuv i1155, the world’s first iPod video player that is compatible with new iPod series. Ready to launch in November 2007.
An upgraded iLuv i1155 will be available in November. The new iLuv i1155 will be compatible with the new iPod classic 80GB/160GB and iPod nano 3rd Generation* that Apple introduced in September 2007.
The i1155 is the world’s first portable iPod classic, iPod nano 3rd Gen. and iPod with video player that also has a DVD player. The attractive design and 8.4” wide screen, touch sensitive keypad controls and the digital photo frame feature to display photos from your iPod distinguishes the i1155 from other products available in the market.
The i1155 can also be connected to a TV with the included 3.5mm-to-RCA jack. Users can fully control the iPod and navigate the user-friendly menu screen (UI) with remote control.
jWIN was able to incorporate the new authentication chip required for the new iPod models in order to play videos on the i1155. Accordingly, as a result, a price adjustment became necessary to enable this modification. Unprecedented demand with short supply for LCD panels also has been forcing the price adjustment. Despite the price adjustment, i1155’s unique position in the market will be a breakthrough for our customers.
The upgraded i1155 is scheduled to be shipped by mid October in Hong Kong and should arrive in the U.S. in November. The shipping schedule for the i1155 will continue to develop and we will keep you informed as it does.
*A docking adaptor for the iPod nano 3rd Generation will be available as a separate
